The below statement was released from OTTO regarding their change to the P9C series:

"ISSUE DATE: October 11^th, 2019

PRODUCT(S) AFFECTED: P9C Series

EFFECTIVE DATE: October 11^th, 2019

Description of Change:

The P9C series pushbutton switches are being discontinued, effective immediately. The P9C pushbutton will be replaced by the P9L pushbutton which is a logic level only version of OTTO’s P9 series switch.

Impact on OTTO Customers:

The P9C and P9L are mechanically equivalent and are both logic level only switches. The P9L offers a shorting bar contact system, like the P9C, plus offers NO, NC and 2- circuit contact systems. The P9L offers more configuration options as well as the same tactile feel of the P9.

Validation Testing Performed:

The P9L switch has been tested and passed all validation test requirements.

Effective Date:

The change will affect all product orders placed after October 11^th of 2019. All previously placed orders will be honored."
