We recently sent you a Product Change Notification (#
04132020) regarding electrical rating changes to the P9 and LP9 series
switches. Below is a link to the updated PCN (# 05112020) for the P9 series
switches only. Note, the LP9 series switch ratings remain the same as per
PCN 04132020.
The good news is the P9 electrical ratings have been improved
from the previous PCN. The electrical specifications are now as follows:
The 28VDC resistive load specification is
unchanged.
(The specification remains 5A (NO/NC) and 4A (2 Circuit)
The inductive load specification is changing from 28VDC or
115VAC 60Hz/400Hz 3A (NO/NC) and 2A (2 Circuit) to 28VDC 2A
(NO/NC and 2 Circuit).
The AC rating is changing from 115VAC
60/400Hz to
115VAC 60Hz.
The 115VAC resistive load specification is changing
from
5A (NO/NC) and 4A (2 Circuit) to
3A (NO/NC) and 1A (2 Circuit).
All other specifications remain unchanged.
After additional testing we have determined the ratings could
be improved. Please see the updated P9 ratings chart at the link below. Our
